IF you are new to Drakan First Thing you will need to do is to download

Drakan has changed since it has came out with diff Patch's :> (435) (436)
(442) (444) <--them are the old patches. New PATCH IS 445 patch. Reason
for The 445 patch is that most of the levels/maps only work with 445patch
and that 'No CD is needed to play Drakan' It's a upgrade for the game. And
improves how the game and the levels work Really helps make the making of levels. Drakan level editor is if you want to make levels.

"There is often a ReadMe file inside the level that will tell you how to
install them and how to name the folder. A levels must be installed before
it can be played, and the correct folder. Example: downloaded level name Ice_Arena
"" when down loaded level is Done unzip it. Site you can get at http://www.winzip.com/
Unzip then go to my computer/local disk C: then look you will see folder name unzip folder then you click on it. In side you then will see folder name ice_arena drag that to your desk top just put it there for now then you will now need to click on my computer/ local disk C:/ programs files/ psygnosis/ drakan/ multiplayer/ ground OK? Good. Now the folder on your desk top you will take that folder and drag it in the ground folder now that "GOOD JOB"Great The level is install. Once You Have Done That. Then Next make sure u have the right name of that level on the folder rename it the right way like Ice_arena needs to be rename to Ice arena no line in the name ;space and no space or all one word matters to; The folders name must match other players folder For the level to work, With the right name of the level Good job you are now ready to go play Drakan some more KEEP trying not get in first time Don't Give Up, Make Sure It is install with the right name on it "ENJOY" Other levels be easier to install after you have done one if you unzip it and click on the read me File for installing, Each level Is different installing too just following the steps; Only 5 ways to install a level or A place they can go in One like in Drakan's folder or2 in Multiplayer's folder or3 in ground folderor4 in air folder or5 in the QOD folder. Other level files may go into others spots Drakan/common folder etc.Sky common go's in there.when its down loaded put there its needed. Some levels are Tricky too install, Colosseum level it has 2 folders in it, your have to drag the one says Arena Series into the Drakan folder then the other one says
muliplayer your put that into the mulplayer folder Hehehe Guess what you
just installed another level good jop It's ready to play. Also some the
levels made are diff when installing. Can't get a level to work then
repeat your STeps It Is Not Hard !!!!!!!!!< < Good jop you are now working

with game files are any files Installing levels No Proublem Note that most the zips being down loaded are not right way for the folders to be like aho2.zip =Arenas Of Honour 2 Spelled thats the correct way and has space.Hill_of_dragonfire correct way is right for that lines are did have to stay one not many leves but dont have read me files in it for they might have been diff versions made for the Levels. testing or bata levels .

Click on Psygnosis/
Click on Drakan/
click on Multiplayer/
click on Ground/
click on Air/click on qod. Drakan folder (SIngel levels) Multiplayer folder (Muliplayer levels)
G round folder (Ground levels) A ir folder (Air levels) Qod folder (Qod levels) 'Known also as Master of The Dragons; NOTE; that a ground lvl not aways means it go's in ground folder ect may go muliplayer for that level to work and play Please read the read me files in them or ask

Things to watch for installing levels:>
T hat you have right name of the level on folder
T hat you have it in the right place
T hat you have it spelled right
T hat your down load hasn't stop and file Didn't get corrupted
T hat you have all the files in the folder
T hat you rename the folder with out the lines or with or with space
T hat you have install the 445patch
T hat you don't get error #4error means level not install right That you
don't get error#6 means have wrong patch. That you got message says
check firewall settings it has lots reasons if you get that message Will apear all the time; can be connections, can be no 445patch,can be not have the level,can be firewall settings like Norton. just few thing to check connection can time be problem
just connections to servers can try to go to drakan.cfg says set client game port 27910 change the numbers say just 0 save try again re connecting 27910 can to only just change the last number like 27911 ect and will work help getting connection to servers routers can be pain

Easy and best thing to do is just uninstall the game and delete All
all the drakan folders and drakan files and then you can reinstall Drakan Game.
Times game Cd is needed to help fix games files.One bad file can
miss up a hole game. Mistakes Helppens lots to all of us workin with game
files are any files Installing levels. No problem then just start over it
gets better Please note to all ways back up your files.;Your always have
